The Katsu-ya group's very first restaurant opened in Dec. 1999 on Ventura Blvd., Studio City, also known as "Sushi Corner" and is highly competitive. By words of mouth, chef Katusya's original sushi creations spread all over town. Man Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes became regular patrons.
